It’s an exciting time here at MCC library. We recently upgraded our web catalog and it’ll be active very soon. Our wonderful Reference Librarian, Lisa, secured funding for LibGuides for the next year, so I’m looking forward to building some pages! In the next year or so, we hope to have a new, more interactive website.
Lisa and I worked together over the summer to update the library lesson plan for the College Success Seminar course, and trial sessions have been very positive.
Most of my summer hours have been spent at the reference desk out on the floor, so I haven’t been able to create tutorials and such. Once the school year gets underway, and we are back to full staff, I hope to be able to spend some time in the office creating tutorials.
